Pancakes for Prostates

For our second community event we decided to give back to men’s health as a whole. We partnered with the One Man at a Time Non-profit organization to raise awareness for Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) blood tests. No longer do guys have to get the “good ole fashion” prostate exam. Testing for the PSA is as simple as asking your doctor to hit another check box on the yearly lab tests. We set up shop at the Pour House Grand Central and Ginger Beard Coffee in Tampa to host a pancake brunch to raise awareness and some funds for PSA tests. Tom Keyburn (This guy has an incredible story check out the link) is the founder of the One Man at a Time 501c and has become a great friend of our program. Tom is a prostate cancer survivor and his non-profit advocates for the PSA test and even donates them to men at local events. We were thrilled to let Tom know we raised over $500 to donate PSA tests to his constituents. Now that COVID is winding down get ready for us to hit the streets more and bring awareness to our Tampa Bay community.
